Qatar Museums Authority (QMA)

Qatar Museums Athority (QMA) protects the Qatarian culture and history. It's done by restorating and preserving the Arab, Islamic Art for community engagement, education and enjoyment. That collection is being shown or will be shown in the four museums QMA has. QMA wants to be a global leader in the world of museums, art and heritage.

QMA also helps (and organises) with the restoration of many historical buildings and Mosques in Qatar.

The QMA museums are:

• Orientalist Museum
• Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art

The QMA art collection that's on permanent display:

• Costumes, textiles and jewellery
